About Me

Luis Felipe Mameri is a 27 years old Ecuadorian/Brazilian photographer and filmmaker. For an early age, coupled with being raised in counties such as Ecuador, Angola, Brazil, and the United States, Luis has always been exposed to many different forms of art. However, his interest in photography and filmmaking did not begin to take shape until he was gifted his first digital camera which motivated him to explore the world around him through short films and photography. As time would come to tell, Luis would stay true to his childhood passion as he has not only obtained B.F.A degrees in both Film/Television and Photography at the prestigious Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD) but has also traveled the world in an attempt to create meaningful and universal work communicating the human condition. Despite having been officially selected in various film festivals, Luis has explained that his most significant accomplishments rest in the various people he has met, experiences he has lived, and journeys he has undertaken. Currently, Luis Felipe Mameri continues to travel the world with a curious sense to explore and uncover the various people and things that decorate the world with beauty.
