There is a common thread amongst filmmakers and artists a like. A thread, characterized by a sort of appreciation and genuine love for the out worldly, for the overtly emotional, and the intimately touching. An acknowledgment that films aren’t only magical for the creativity and passion they inspire, but are most often necessary stories of love which make us romanticize about the possibilities (expectation versus reality). The possibilities of falling in love… the experience of genuine fulfilment through the accomplishment of conflict… a genuine life adventure which can instill as much passion as your favorite films do in you… to have a true lasting love that is true to you. The basic rationale why we reside within artic forms of expression, primarily because through it we can escape. Reality has the tendency to hurt us and to disappoint us.
